Default finally some pictures of my truck.

8000k hid lights in both my headlights and foglights.


another picture of my lights (please ignor the girlfriend sticking her tounge out in the passenger seat lol)


foglights only


backflip g2 tonneau cover aswell as line-x bed liner


drawtie class 3 hitch aswell and tinted taillights

Niiiiiice!!! I'm getting me some 8000 lights, those look sweet! Nice job on the taillights!

the foglights are a pain in the you know what to get in. there was lots of bulb modification to get it to fit. even know they were the ones that were supposed to fit. if your truck has the same ones.

what about the headlights? easy install? I'm going to start with those.

fairly straight forward. you loose your highbeams since we dont have two seperate bulbs for high/lo. but lets be honest here. you will never need high beams again.

seriously? you lose high beams or low beams? what happens when you put on your high beams with the hid's?

with our single bulbs doing both functions, when you hit the high beams the bulbs just go out. thats how i signal people now. light flickering. haha. although im sure you could find a hi/lo xenon hid kit. i just dont know much about them and was recommended not to go with them for reliability issues with the ballasts and that they dont last as long.

I'm not sure if it is an issue with the 08+ dakota's, but my 5000k's went in the fog lights with no trouble at all.

On a side note this thread has motivated me to finish my 55w HID conversion on my hella 700ff's.
