Default All I have to say is, "BULLSH@T!!!!"

So when I bought my truck I got the service plan w/ it. I figured I wouldn't hav to worry about anything. Ahhhhhhh, wrong again.

So I bring my truck in for an oil change figuring it would be in and out. Holy sh@t was I wrong. So while changing the oil they cross thread the plug, which I understand can happen. (They didn't tell me until I asked what was taking so long) So they have to run across town to get the right plug. While waiting for the plug they rotate my tires, which didn't need or did i want to be down. In the mean time use a torque wrench to take off my new aftermarket Rims. We all know that's a big mistake on aftermarket rims. So about an hour later they finally r finished washing it and get it to the front. I say thanx and was on my way. The next day I go out to clean my truck and notice the center caps are all effed up and the rims are all chipped. So I call up the service dept and they tell me to come up and show them, so I did. They agree to pay for my caps and set up an appointment w/ their rim guy. Yeah, I said "rim guy". I drop it off before work to get rims refinished. When I went to pick it up there were runs and over spray all over. Come to find out the "rim guy" didn't want to remove the rims to refinish them because he was scared he might chip them. WTF is that! So I convince his lazy worthless a$$ to remove them and I left. Today I go back, after work, to check them out and the rims were totally effed. 2 different colors and rough feeling. So I bitch and now they are paying for me to replace the wheels. Thank god, but this pissed my the f off. Just thought I'd vent.

Only an idiot would cross thread the bolt for the oil pan.

Anyone and everyone knows, you take the plug in your hand and stick it in the oil pan hole, and you slowly twist it counter-clockwise until you feel it "click" into place, indicating the threads are aligned.

These things don't just happen by chance. The people you are dealing with are careless. Care should be the #1 priority in your mind when dropping your truck off.

That means they failed completely.

I agree with this 100%. Things like this is what is giving stealers bad reputations. especially dodge. my absolute last resort for any problem is the dealer, even for my wifes journey which has a warranty. taking it in for an oil change is just asking for trouble. They ALWAYS find something wrong with it.

I too agree with this. I like to call it paying attention to detail.

Last Saturday I took my truck into the stealership to get the oil change because I received their oil/air filter change coupon in the mail. So they change the oil and run my truck through the car wash, I pay the bill and get into the truck and start it up and notice that the service tech did not reset the oil change needed service tone.

Now I know some of you are saying this might be nitpicking, but the way I see it, since I am paying for the service I expect the tech to put forth some attention to detail whether I am paying $10 or $1000 for service.

If I can't trust them with a $25 service, there is no way I would trust them with anything larger.

That sucks. +1 on the oil pan plug. Thats what you get though when you get some high school drop out with a wrench in his hand to change the oil.

Good luck with getting the new wheels. I hope you dont have to deal with that place ever again.

I too am not the least bit impressed with the Dodge dealer! I say no more, and I stay away from them.

I never let the Dodge Dealer touch mine. I either do it myself, or the Service Dept at the dealer I bought it from (A used car dealer) Their service manager is a retired German Army mechanic..when I tell him what the problem is in army speak..he understands what I'm telling him..and he knows he's the only other person i trust with my vehicles..and he respects that trust..so because of that I send my friends to him..something he also respects....
