Default Lift for 2WD Trucks

So I am working ar Lashway Motorports here in South Florida Detailing and running their new website ect.

Well it turns out that the fab guy they just hired from californa worked on the Redbull Trophy Trucks and Buggies for the Baja 1000 and 500.

I was talking to him about making a lift of the truck and he is willing to make up some spindles. He said we can get 2-3 inches from the spindles alone. So with a 1.5-2.5 leveling kit you are looking at anyway between 3.5-4.5'' of lift.

The great thing about spindles is that is doesnt change anything on the front end just lowering the mounting point og the wheel.

No he is going to fab some up for my truck I just need you guys to help me find 2 spindles from a 3.7/4.7 2WD Dakota/Raider so he can make a jig out of it so I can run them on my truck.

Thanks

usually you need bigger wheels to clear lifted spindles...

and they are the same for 2wd and 4wd

The spindles will be the same size but the mounting point of where the wheel mounts to the spindle will be moved down.

Where can I find used spindles so we can get the ball rolling

I would give your local junk yards a call and see if they have any wrecked dakotas/raiders. This would be a good way to lift the trucks I think but would probably require different offset wheels or spacers to clear everything.

Hi everyone,
I have been looking on the forum posts for a lift to my 2010 dakota laramie 4wd.
It seems there are no choices to do this.

I want to lift the front 2" with a height adjustable shock (rancho quick lift, bilstein 5100, etc) this will give a best off road riding, a firm suspension feeling, 2" lift so 32" tires will fit correct.

Does anyone knows if exists this way to level the front? dont want a simple strut spacer..

I read many posts of you guys I seems you have been trying to find this product since 2008 or earlier.

How could be that there´s no one who manufacture this??
for example Rancho quicklift, the only problem to install that shock is the bottom linkage of the rancho? just this? any solution?

I read somewhere in the forum that if you lift 2" front, you may need to install "something" between the front diff and the axles joint???

what about the upper A arm? is necesary to change it?

does someone took a look at this kit?

thanks

There is nothing other than slavers unless you go totally custom for the front.

thanks for quick reply.
I found this post in the web, it looks that maybe could be used in the dakotas. Is a rancho quicklift on a Ram 1500, it has the same bottom mount that the dakotas.
what do you think? will it fit on dakota 2010?
