our trucks are very easy to break into using a slim jim or one of those bags that slides into the door jam, expands, and "stretches" the door enough to fit a stick w/ rubber end to flip up the lock. I can do it in about 11 seconds! lol. obviously this is if you do not have an alarm. that takes a few more seconds.

Yes it is very easy if you have a slim jim. I have two and tried it on the truck. Easy as pie. My wife's Ford Fusion, forget it.. lol

What is a "slim jim?" Is that one of those police tools to unlock cars?

I think in NY it is unlawful to own one.. I think it is possession of a burglary tool or some stupid thing. So if "anybody" asks I don't own one haha

Must be a state to state thing... I can go to my local gas station and buy a professional lock picking set.

I told them they should buy and sell my personal kit. Any one can use it.
