Got rid of the Dakota
Seems like I haven't been on here in forever, but I bought a new truck so the fever to talk trucks, and look at modifications has overtaken me once again.
For reference here's a link to the page on the 4th Gen Ram Forum that has some pictures of my new truck.

Thanks to everyone that may have helped me, or given me some guidance while I owned the Dakota. This site was a great source of help for me.

There was no way that I would ever consider leaving the Mopar family unless they totally take a crap on me, and they never have. In response to Superdak I love the new Durangos, I was looking at an R/T they had sitting on the showroom floor, man those things are sweet. A huge step up in quality from the previous generation. I think Fiat has Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep headed in the right direction.
I miss the Dakota though. Although it was a plain jane ST 2WD 3.7l it was still a good truck while it lasted. It was sitting at about 81k miles when I traded it in, and was in need of a new windshield, as well as some new drum brakes on the rear, and shocks. It was time to step up into the Ram though, I have been waiting for this for awhile. Ever since I saw the spy photos of the 2009 Ram I knew I had to have one.

Sorry to see you go but at least you left for a Dodge.
I've driven one of the new Rams with the 4.7l, no denying they're nice trucks, felt huge after being used to my Dakota though, haha. You definitely made the right choice on the Hemi, the rental I drove went decently but that's a lot of truck for the 4.7.

Congrats. I considered doing the same, but found out real quick I can't afford it. That whole prices going up and pay going down thing still kicking my ***. Gonna stick it out with the Dakota.
