Hello i am new. i just purchased a 2005 dodge dakota 4.7. im getting two codes p0340 and p0344 i guess they are the same thing, camshaft position sensor. where would this be on this truck? anyone know?

 

welcome to the forum, as Eric stated:

"its 1 10mm bolt. its on the bottom of the passenger side, toward the front of the valve cover. real easy to replace. I just did one on my truck because it tossed a code. took maybe 5 minutes, from opening the box and getting tools (I used a small ratchet and a 4 inch extension with a deep well socket), to getting the old one out and the new one in... if you have the CEL when you start back up, reset the computer."
