Default Passenger Power Lock Issue

Hey all,

I've been having some problems with my passenger side power lock. It basically doesn't respond at all and can only be operated manually. Anyone have any recommendations where to start troubleshooting? Does this require removing the door panels and if so how do I go about doing that?

Thanks to everyone in advance.

Unfortunately it would require removing the door panel. I would check the connection, maybe see if you can clean the switch with some contact cleaner, or the switch may be bad. Gotta remove the door panel first to check, though.

Door panel removal is pretty simple, 4 screws and a clip on the back for the door handle. I highly recommend downloading the factory service manual located in the stickys. It will tell you how to take apart and reassemble your whole truck.
