Default Having some trouble......

I just got my bull bar today. So I figured I would install it. I got the front 2 nuts of the front tow hooks but I'm having trouble w/ the rear bolt. It seems to be loosening up, but has a ton of creaking and cracking noises. What am I doing wrong? Help, please!

i've heard horror stories about those tow hook bolts and the rubber bushings...can you torch them? Melt the bushings? and....can I have your tow hooks since you wont be needing them anymore??????

When I was installing my tow hooks I tried pb blaster then hitting with an impact and got nothing. I eventually just cut the heads of the bolts off and pulled them out through the top.

Try a 50/50 mix of atf and acetone. Gentely warm the bolt before appling and wait for it to cool.

So you had problems installing the tow hooks?? There are bolts there even without the tow hooks?

Yea they are your front body mount bolts so to install the hooks you need to remove your front body mount bolts and then install the longer bolts and brackets that come with the tow hooks.
