Yup,
and i see exactly what hypertech did too
They took a tuner from a different make of vehicle that was similar to the PCM on the 07-10 dodges and molested the program into working

But for us 05-06 guys they couldn't find anything to jimmyrig for us so we get nothing,

Great R&D job

Freaking really, 07 and up only, so your only supporting the later years where the truck hasnt sold as well. Come on guys, how much more could it possibly cost for you to get it to work for the 05-06, most of the work has to be done by doing the newer ones, Im sure you would make plenty back by making it work with the 05-06 as well, come on.

Exclamation From Hypertech... Push for the 2006 -

Recieved this email today. Go to hypertechs request form and specify a tuner for the 3.7L prior to 2007 in the notes section. Maybe if the get enough they will do something for the 2006 and under.

The computers on the 07- up vehicles are different from the earlier
versions. We definitely would support the earlier year models, if we get
enough requests for them.

Make sure to put in a product request on our website, so we can contact
you when they become available. The link to our product request page is
http://209.12.144.7/requests.php.

Thanks.

Chris

PS- should this be posted somewhere else so more people see it? I really want a tuner!

Are there any differences in the PCMs themselves? I mean physically fitting, or major road blocks when it comes to communications, between the pre '07 and the '07+ PCMs?
