Could be the sway bar links, ball joints, or even the inner tie rods. Time to jack up the truck and inpect everything.

Welcome to the forum! As wingman says, start checking the front end. These trucks eat front end parts. Replace everything you can with aftermarket stuff. Don't replace with factory junk (unless you have a warranty, then your stuck)

loud clunking noise is probably the ball joints, they are terrible, once they break the rivets the ball starts to wear into the control arm, then you need to replace everything, just have to find out if its lower or upper

Default Gas tank issue in my 06 dakota. any good tips?

Hey i'm new on here, i have a 06 quadcab TRX4 and the 4.7. i'm currently deployed but before i left i was having major problems when it came to filling up. it seemed as if the tank was vapor locked and it would spit the fuel back out at me. it takes almost 20 mins to fill the damn thing. has this happened to anyone else? any suggestions other than replacing the whole damn tank?

im at work but i looked a little bit and found a tsb on a 2006 but all it talked about was the loose filler cap. i have seen before in the forum guys with the 2005's and having to replace the whole tank. i just trying to see if there was a way around that. when doing my body lift we blew air down the vent tube to see if it was clogged but nothing? i can live with it but its a pain in the a$$ to tell people at the pumps to go around cause im gonna be there awhile
