Driving Problems after new Suspension
#11
I'm assuming you are using the same tires and wheels, without re-balancing, as you did prior the the suspension change, and the wheel weights have not been knocked off. Try swapping the front and rear tires. It's possible the rear tires are now on the front, and the balance was off before, a wheel weight got knocked off during the suspension work, or coincidentally a tire has gone bad. Usually, suspension shake at speed is tire balance, tire damage (shifting belts) or very worn suspension components. If after swapping tires the condition still exists you probably have a suspension problem which will require more troubleshooting. The need to turn the wheel to travel in a straight line indicates incorrect alignment. When checking the problem, make sure you are traveling on a flat, level road (not one with a high crown).

I would just have the tires rechecked. Most places will give a warranty on tire balance. It is possible that they missed added a weight, or you threw a new weight. Should be quick check. Dig deeper after that if they do not find and issue.

Well I dropped it back off at firestone last night. As I did the manager heard me talking with the Tech. He was kinda surprised and said, Wow that is the Third one Today complaining about mis-balancing and Alignment. So it makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only one but at the same time not the best feeling that someone doesn't know what there doing.
