Hey guys Im knew to the forum and I wanted some other Dakota peoples opinions on something. I have cold air intake, magnaflow cat back exhaust, and JET chip installed on my truck. Any other ideas from anyone on how i can increase my 0-60 times these mods just didn't seem to do a whole lot. Let me know what you think

Welcome to the forum and everyone on here loves pics, so share some pics of you R/T.

A lot of the guys here are using a Superchips tuner for horsepower and other performance gains.

my best 0-60 is 7.03 with allterrains, i need street tires! but cams and gears or boost will be the major things that will knock off serious seconds off the 0-60.

+1 on the gears. If you want acceleration, some 4.56s would be killer. Any gear swap gets pricey though for a 4x4 if thats what you have.

Welcome.

You've got an R/T so you already have a decent set of cams. Trade your jet chip for a sct/ or a superchips flashpac. Hhr e-fan and gears would be the next step.

X2 on the hhr fan its not gonna do much but for $60 you cant beat it. And for gears 4.56's would make that thing rip but thats alot of gear 4.10's would be safer but its your call.

my truck got up and went with the hemi 125 shot of nitrous, but as for the r/t, switching out the 3.92 to a 4.10 wont do much, get a sct tuner and look up hemifever.com, he will get you going on tuning the truck,

i love my sct. hemifever can do insane things with custom tuning. best money you can spend on a 4.7 is on hemifever tuning. hands down.

But superchips does some amazing things to the 545rfe transmission! Hands down, my truck would not be nearly as much fun to drive if it didnt have the aggressive shift schedule of the superchips. These trucks are such dogs with the stock shift schedule.
