Talking DF meetup/offroading, myself and kscowboy

KScowboy came up here and went offroading with a myself and another buddy of mine. we had a great time testing the limits of our trucks. Got a little muddy too!

not sure, actually gotta ask him. i think you can mount something to them, something farm related. dunno though.

He did a write up on it a while back. I am pretty sure its a universal mount for his light bar. He made it himself if I recall correctly.

It looks like a hitch of some kind. You can see the 2" receiver in the center, just below the bumper. Looks like one of those receiver's you get to tow behind an RV or something.

It looks to ,me like a hook up to go on the back of a motor home...
btw thats looked realy fun and i wana go wheelin now... WTF just when i thought i gotr over the bug for a little bit

Well, it was, I said WAS, gonna be used to mount a brush guard to the front of my truck. It also is a 2" front receiver for a winch, that i dont have, and of course the tow hooks that i used for the first time (other than leashing the dogs down) for something official. But after this last weekend, I wont be mounting my brush guard up that way, cause it was dragin on the ground too darn much, and even on the road, it hits curbs when i pull up to most. (2"levelling kit will fix that) I might be borrowing an idea from DodgeTrucker to make my own bumper. But thats a ways away untill i get my house bought.

Does anyone have any good remedies for getin a rid those new "racing" stripes that the trees gave me. I think its only the clearcoat, but I'd love to get it cleaned up.
