Weird problem.

Default Weird problem.

Hopefully somebody can help this puzzled guy out. I recently noticed a clunk in my front end. When I step on the brakes the I hear a pop and the clunk goes away. I checked tie rods, ball joints etc.. I checked the caliper on driver's side. I can move it with a pry bar, so I checked the mounting bolts and they are tight. Is this something more than a loose caliper? Or is there a way to tighten it up? Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thanks everybody.

My guess is a broken sway bar link! Check those. Sometimes the break and they look ok....

Is the caliper moving front to back or side to side? The caliper pins maybe worn out.

RAVEN: I dont have my front sway bar on atm.
WINGMAN: It moves front to rear not side to side and both calipers are 1 month old.

The caliper should have no movement at all. make sure the caliper bolts are tight and that the caliper mounting braket is tight as well.

It was the mounting bracket that was loose. Thanks for the help.
