Default Superchips 3865

I would like to know if all superchips 3865 are compatible with a 2010 Dakota? I can get my hands on a used one for a decent price but do not want to be stuck with a revision that isn't compatible.

Thanks for your response.

So if its been paired with a truck the previous owner needs to undo it before selling it? If that wasn't done is there a master reset that can be performed or are you sol?

Yes, from my understanding, previous owner needs to set tuner/vehicle back to stock settings before sale. If that's not done, Superchips can do it but they charge $100.

If I'm wrong on that, I'm sure other forum members will correct me...

Yeah its $100 to unlock it. If you do buy it i recomend that you buy the trans tuning option. Its well worth the $40.00

Thanks for the info guys. With a 100$ unlock fee the deal is not as good anymore. Will buy it new. Thanks again.

When I bought my 3685 in April, it required an additional file from SC to make it work on the 2010. It didn't work out of the box. FYI.

Same here. They had to program it specifically for the new version of the 08+ 4.7.
