I just traded my 2002 Dakota for a 2005 Dakota. I'm not sure what kind of exhaust would sound good with the 3.7L engine..? Any ideas as to what kind of exhaust would sound good? I want just a little rumble, nothing too loud because I don't have a V8.

 

Magnaflo or flomaster. I had magnaflo on my 3.0 ranger awhile back and it sounds pretty good. Plus, keep in mind dodge motors all sound pretty good w/ exhaust.

 

I have a single chamber flowmaster on my dakota, without the 2 resonators and turned down. Sounds sweet!

tru dual with dunomax ultraflow Xpipe dual in dual out...idle is loud...WOT is quiet.

i have cherry bomb on my car and its CRAZY LOUD

 

I love the Borla single in single out on my Dak! Removed the resonator and at idle has a nice rumble and at wot is like "what the hell is that" kind of sound!!!!!

 

Magnaflow has a nice sound. Flowmaster is just plain obnoxious. imo

 

It was $100 for everything at my local exhaust shop.

I have a 3.7 and currently have a 40 Series muffler swap with a resonator delete and i personally love it. The resonator is basically just another thing added to keep noise down, you should be able to see it behind your rear passenger tire, its like a silver square box
