nice looking truck! Red is the second best color for these trucks! Superchips tuner is plug and play....does not really take any time at all...and what a difference it makes!

Silver might last longer. Blue gets better mileage. But everyone knows that red is the fastest.

Haha! LMFAO!

I have heard the silver ones have a tendancy to develop muffler bearing problems, and they are always running out of blinker fluid.

Ok, I don't know anything about this stuff. What's this super chip tuner you guys are talking about?

One thing I noticed, if you really step on the gas, it takes off really quick but really loses it's pull when it hits second gear. Is that typical? Does a super chip maybe stop it from going to second so quickly?

Also, will it void any warranties?

Ahh...the old "fall flat on my face on the 1-2 shift"....yes all these trucks do it and yes superchips will make that much better, especially if you get the trans package...do some searches on here for superchips...you will find that those of us who have it don't know how we drive these trucks without it..some guys prefer the SCT tuner but those are mostly for heavily modified motors (ho cams, blowers, etc.) The superchips is the best bang for the buck imo. Add a CAI and a performance exhaustand you will be dumbfounded by the difference it makes in performance.
