I do 15 min on the ground. But, I'm slim so I can easily slide right under the truck and I have the Fumoto valve and drain tube.
On a side note; starting fluid spayed on oil and trans spills lifts the spill right up. Spray and blot it up in small enough sections that you can do it before the ether evaporates. Bada bing, no stain on driveway.
