1. Welcome to the best d@mn 3rd Generation Dodge Dakota forum/board in existence...dont waste your time trying others...
2. Remove your battery cables and let the truck sit overnight without the battery hooked up.
3. #2 normally cures 95% of the electronic related problems with these trucks, plus 99% of the driveabiity issues...i kid you not.
4. Post pictures of your truck if you plan on staying around otherwise you get one of these:

Im still trying to figure this problem out it happened to me last year and it just went away. Do they work if your wipers are on high? Because every time i wanted to turn left i had to turn my wipers on.

First, lots of good advice on this site. Thanks all.

Mine did that intermittently and got progressively worse. The stealership said they couldn't replicate the problem (probably because they didn't actually test drive it) but a mechanic recalled a TSB concerning the Rams having similar problems. They replaced the multifunction switch and it's been working fine since.

Back to lurking....

Welcome to the forum!

Just do it backwards. If you are turning right touch the signal to turn left!!

J/K... try the pcm reset as suggested be Kent!!!

Haha!
With mine, I had to use the left signal to turn right and the emergency button for the left signal then all of a sudden everything would start working properly. I was kind of pitying the folks following me.
