Default Billet grille question

How do you make the hood release usable? There were directions but they made no sense

I drilled a hole at the end of my release latch, and ran a cable down to between the grille and the bumper with a loop in it. Now I just find the loop and tug on it and the hood is released.

There should already be a hole in your release latch. Loop a cable through that and crimp/tie it then loop the other end around the bottom bar of the frame that the grill sits on and crimp/tie it there. When you pop the hood you just reach under, feel for the cable then give it a tug and lift.
