i removed my middle flip up without even touching the front seats....ok i lied. you have to slide them back and fourth depending on which nuts your working on.

theres just 4 nuts that hold the middle section on some bent brackets. super easy.

Yes now that you mention it for sure you could. At the time I had set out strip out my whole interior so I went all the way.

I'm building the console for him and this is an issue for us...so far were looking at just cutting the bracket off that connects the center seat (one way)

save yourself trouble and leave the passenger seat airbag sensor attached or u will be paying to have it reset. my airbag light has been on for 6 months now.

The middle console/seat brackets are riveted onto the passenger and driver's seat. You can unbolt the middle seat from the brackets and leave the brackets right in place. Thus, you only have four bolts to remove.

Did you unplug your battery for at least 30 minutes before unplugging the airbag connector? I think if you do that the light will not come on.

Well the whole disconnecting the battery thing is so that the charge that's still in the sensor has time to work out, otherwise u go messing with it, it could explode in UR face....
