Heres our page and store. you can view the notes on the left hand column. there is the install instructions there so you know whats involved. super easy i think.
Not yet. We're constantly expanding the site and adding more stuff. We've been dealing locally and just recently decided to go online.
Well, took the dak to the mechanic yesterday. this guy is just a mom and pop shop. Highly recommended by several of my friends. I knew I would need to replace almost everything in the front end, it was just in rough shape.
Replaced both the upper ball joint (controller arm I think its called?) and lower ball joints, both sides, right outer tie rod, both swaybar end links and alignment completed. My total cost $1500. $800 was parts alone. Moog parts used for the swaybar end links and I think tie rod. I could be wrong on that though. CV was inspected and was fine. He inspected the driver side outer tie rod, said it was fine.
I had to drive it up the road to another place to get the alignment done, he paid for it, but I wanted the truck back same day, so I said I would gladly drive it. Those laser machines are bloody cool!
Next up, brakes. He uses raybestoes <--- Saying that right? Any comments on those? Funny, dodge told me the brakes are near shot, this guy says I can get another 10K out of them with no issues whatsoever.
Price might seem high to you folks, I think, but I have NO mechanical experience with vehicles, and no tools to do the job even if I wanted to. $1372 was the repair bill, but of course, good old tax drove that higher. That being said, Dodge quoted me double the price for the above work! On top of their $100.00 inspection fee just to tell you what is wrong. This vehicle has 110K on it, and as I say, she worked hard for every one of those kilometers. Wow though, drives like new.
