Those new Rams are pretty sick. I never was big on the G3 Rams but I would certainly own a G4.

excatly, pay off the dak, take what would be the monthly payment for the ram and bank it, it's better to be ahead at the game with the way the economy is, then making payments. Been looking to trade my dak in for the new srt8 durango. But then realized, money in the bank is better. still gonna get the durango, but gonna wait a few years

New Rams are sweet but that seems rather expensive to me for a used one with 36K

Like a few of the other guys have said, at 36k and at that price it would be a little rich for my blood.

But hey if it's what you want go for it.

That's definitely a high price with 36k on it. Guys are buying brand new 4th Gen Ram 1500's for somewhere in the mid $30 thousand range. Sticker is usually in the low to mid $40 thousands.

I am happy as **** without any car or truck payments, I like the Ram but have no need for a bigger truck than the Dakota. Plus you know you're truck has been taken care of (I hope), who knows why the Ram was sold, could have an issue or two. Either way yo go, it's still not a red truck.

I gotta agree, but that's about the ballpark I'm seeing down here in the deep south, and generally prices of vehicles tend to run a bit cheaper down here.

The time to do the move would have been when the 4th Gens started hitting the lots, my cousin jumped on a leftover '08, brand spanking new, 4x4, ThunderRoad, Hemi QC in Sept of '08 when the dealership ran a 50% off sticker on all leftover '08s.
Yeah, granted it was a 3rd Gen and the 4th Gens have a bit more power and are slicker looking, especially the interior, but I've pulled with a buddies '09 and ain't crazy about the rear spring setup, so there are pluses and minuses.
Cousin ended up paying just over $24k out the door for that Ram with a sticker that was $43k and change & it had 8 miles on it!!!

I feel like there are ads every weekend in the local paper with brand new ram trucks (albeit quad cab, not crew), 4x4, hemi, slt, etc...for like $26k all day. Wait on a good sale and it could be yours for $22-24k brand new.

i hear what everyone is saying...ill agree keep the truck, youll enjoy the money you keep from payments for new toys haha.

i have had my 08 third gen for a year now and i got a flyer from the dealer i got it from offering like 2k under what i paid....toward a new ram or something, nah im not taking a step back in payments.

plan to stick with it to the end and enjoys the last payment when it comes

them....be payment free for a bit and get another toy.(also good on the credit for payin off)

but damn
