6spds are Rare? when I bought mine, I could have got a White 6spd (still V6 tho) for a grand more.
Ive also seen around, 2 other 6spds for sale around here to

Good:

Top end power band is as quick as a sports car
Good gas mileage for a truck worst: 16 best: 22
Interior very user friendly, lots of cupholders and small storage
Garage friendly yet capable doing full size truck work
Enough aftermarket to make it fun
Resale values low make it a good buy

Bad:

Low end power is weak due to computer holding it back
Front end parts are weak and wear out quickly
Stock stereo is crap
No storage behind seat (no easy subwoofer setup)
Not enough aftermarket to make it anything special
Resale values low

I would not look for a new 4.7, I would look for a low mile 2009 or 2010. the difference in price will blow you away. Last year I bought my 2008 for 18000 with 35000 miles, while a new one would have been in the 30000 range or more.

They aren't that bad. You can get decent pricing on new. I picked up a 2011 QC, 4.7, 2WD, 18" wheels, 3.92 gear, limited slip, sliding rear window and power seat for $24500 exactly out the door. Was around $22300 or so before taxes and other junk.

When I was looking I couldn't find an 08 to 10 in the configuration I wanted with low miles for a decent price. Plus if financing you can usually get better interest rates on new VS used which offsets your real cost of ownership.

Yea im looking new. I was going to buy a used SRT8 WK but i just cant bring myself to spend 35K on a 4 year old truck with 35-40k miles on it lol. I like buying new anyway. You know the history and know you took care of it from day one. This is something ill have for many years to come.
