Default Wheel fitment?

First I would like to state that have been addicted to these forums for the past couple of days. Really some good post here. I recently bought my 05 dakota quad v6. Its my first truck. Been into to sports cars for a while. Any ways need some advice on wheel fitting. I am looking to buy OEM dodge ram wheels for my truck and found some on ebay. I think they are 09-11 models One listing states:

Condition: Used:
Rim Material: Alloy
Bolt Pattern: 5.5
Rim Width: 9
Rim Brand: Dodge Rim Diameter: 20
Manufacturer Part Number: ALY02364U
Number of Bolts: 5
Rim Structure: One Piece

But on another listing for what looks to be the same rim states this:

Rim Material: Steel
Number of Bolts: 5 Rim Width: 9
Bolt Pattern: 5x139.7
Rim Diameter: 20
Rim Structure: One Piece
Offset: 19
Rim Brand: Dodge

-----Also the little fitting guide at the bottom of this listing states that these will not fit my truck??? Why is the bolt pattern different number. Sorry if this is a simple question. Basically i want the first listing above but want to make sure they will fit. Thanks in advance and look forward to being part of this forum.

Oem ram wheels will fit your truck with out trouble.

139.7÷25.4=5.5. The bolt pattetn is the same.

The 20"x9" Dodge Ram wheels will fit on perfectly, myself and a few other members are running them. You can use the Dakota lugs too. Don't go any bigger than a 265/50/20 tire on stock suspension.

Welcome to DF.

Welcome to DF!

Those wheels should fit fine, some of the guys in here are running Ram 20's on their Daks. 265/50R20 should fit fine with no rubbing at stock height front/rear or with the rear leveled. I have some pics here if you want to see how that tire size looks: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...the-truck.html

In case anyone was wondering, as I was before doing it, with the PA 3" body lift and the daystar leveling kit you can go 285/75/17. I've got the Dick Cepek DC2 rims (17x9) and Nitto Terra Grapplers. I had to remove the mud flaps and trim just a little off the bumper to stop rubbing but it doesn't rub and looks awesome.

I'm looking to replace/improve the ride in this truck. Possibly get a leveling kit if needed. What suspension do you all recommend? I see monroe and Rancho Shocks have been mentioned previously. I would like to get a more aggresive feel. not so bouncy. I'm really not going to be using the truck to pull any heavy loads just hauling things here and there.

I went with 1.5 trailmaster leveling kit, nothing (no blocks) in the rear, and Rancho's all around. The bouncing was really bad in my truck with the stock struts. The Ranchos fixed that, my truck feels totally solid. Not much body roll with my setup, and I love the way it feels and drives.

With my setup, I fit on 285/50/20's, but I had to trim the front splash guards and wheel well liner a bit, not too much though. With a leveling kit, you're not going to fit any bigger 20" tire without some major modifications. It sits level with what I have, and the tires look pretty big in person.

They sure are, they are the Ram Laramie 20's. I like them, I see a lot of real chrome wheels looking like crap, all pitted and rusting.

Well the only available front shocks last I checked are the Monroes or Ranchos. I went with the Ranchos as they're supposedly the stiffer of the two and I'd like it to be stiffer still but they definitely are better than stock. I'm running the 2" lowering shackles in the rear with Belltech shocks (thanks for the help finding those Blown!) and the rear stiffness is MUCH better. I just wish Belltech had some that fit on the front. I can definitely say this setup with the 20's and summer tread is a big handling improvement, I love it.
