I just installed 265/75/16 Michelins LTX M/S2. Very quiet. The BFG AT TA KOs finally wore out with 55k on them and they became extremely noisy at about 40k into them. Up from 70s to 75s is about an inch taller and millage is about the same, terrible for a mid size truck. I did notice that my GPS speed and my speedometer an now in perfect sync with the extra tire height. The Dak was supposed to be gone out of my life by now but the wife said it is worth crap resale so run it into the ground. She's right on both accounts. Running it into the ground won't take long, it was going there the day I bought it.

I just had new Cooper Dis. AT/3's installed on my truck about a month ago. Love them! Got a great deal on them 580.00 installed for all 4. I had Cooper HT's on there before i got the At/3's and i didn't notice any change in gas milage. I had 265/65/16's and i went to 265/70/16's with the AT/3's.

You won't have any issues with 265/70/16 in my opinion. They look great as well.

I just spent the day installing a set of 285/65R18's BFG AT's on my 08.
Had to do a bit of body work which was covered up nicely by a set of Bushwacker flares.
I have a 3" body lift to install later in the fall but wanted to get the tires on before the cold weather arrives.
Looks pretty cool and if the sun shines tomorrow I will get some pic's.
Wish I had gone with the 305's. ;>)
