Questions I have before upgrades next week
I decided to split the project into two stages due to time constraints and study time required for my classes. The first stage will be done in august, the other in january...first stage is exterior, interior, and some brake upgrades because i wanted to have it done before winter season which will include new bumper both front (painted with chrome molding strip and fog lights holes with most likely custom LED fogs) and rear (deciding on chrome but the rollpans look nice too), headlights (newest generation of my version), tailights (LED smoke chrome), third brake light (smoked chrome as well), chrome tailgate cover, new paint on the rear quarters on both sides, new weather stripping all around, O2 sensor, Drill/Slotted Rotors with EBC pads, new drums brakes painted to match the truck, new grill with chrome dodge symbol inserts which will be painted to match the color of the truck, bedrail caps, chrome side step bar, ss gas cover, custom made seat covers by coverking, new mini Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4 (just came out),front and rear Memphis Audio 6.5 components M Class (15-MCC6 2011 edition), custom led lights on door handle used as blinker, custom headliner, carpet, and some interior pieces, and i'm sure there other stuff i'm forgetting. The second stage will be suspension and performance parts like new chrome wheels (22" or 20" to be decided), brake dust covers painted to match truck, 2" leveling kit, new shock and struts (trying to decide what brand), throttle body spacer, ported throttle body, airraid intake system, looking to possibly get thicker sway bars, leaf spring helper, tune and whatever i can think of by then. I'm trying not to get to carried away since its my company daily driver, but as a mechanic its very hard not too. The first stage of my project begins a week from Friday August 12th. Any information anyone can provide will greatly be appreciated!!
QUESTIONS
1. Rollpan or Chrome bumper, this will dictate what taillights i get? A:CHROME BUMPER IT IS!!
2. Where can you buy the 10 red LED light with white LED cargo light? A: PURCHASED
3. I have 40/20/40 seats, I'm thinking of putting a 2-8" subs in the 20 area since its roughly about 8" by 16.5" and mount the amp under the seat, I'm aiming for a nice clean finish, or would you put in racing seats and have a custom center console fabricated to use as an arm rest with 2-8" down firing subs? A: STILL SEARCHING
4. I have notice that when you install drill/slotted rotors the brake pressure doesn't seem as strong, would you guys recommend putting on stainless steel brake lines (i say yes lol), and where can you get them for the dakota? A:STILL SEARCHING
5. I took some measurements of the air dam located between the fog lights and realize a 12" 7k LED strip (similiar to the Audi lights) would look nice and give the truck a unique look? A:PURCHASED
6. LED fog lights (5" dia composed entiredly of LED lights) or would buy "8k Halo" w/projector fog lights, thoughts on which one?
Thanks to Dakotaff for input thus far, preciate that!
I have other questions but will ask them as time progresses, any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Look around, there are a few guys with rollpans. You just gotta decide if that's what you want. Nobody has put the sub in the middle up front yet, somebody was recently working on this. Like I said before, 20's is plenty of rim on a Dak.
Nice list. Forget the throttle body spacer, it's only good as a paperweight. Sway bars are actually adequate enough, you might want to replace the bushings and get end links from an 08+ as they are thicker and heavier and they fit. I like the idea of the LED light strip between the fogs.

As for the sub project, check out these threads.
