Default New rotors & pads?

Time for new rotors and pads on the 06! Wondering what everybody likes. Nothing fancy just good ones that will last, don't want slotted or drilled! Stock ones are getting a little shaky under braking!

If you're not looking for anything fancy I've always had good luck with Napa rotors. I'm running the BrakePerformance dimpled/slotted ones on the Dak right now, great performance but the coating on the non-contact areas didn't last so they're showing some surface rust.

Hawk light truck pads with oem rotors..truck stops alot better than oem pads not sure about the life expectancy. I had hps street pads with power slots on a car before and I did the pads every 10k but man did she stop lol. But if you stay away from slotted any pad over 50 bucks should last at least 50k

I'm not ready to put new ones on yet but I see brakeperformance.com has Standard Replacement Brake Rotors available with a Lifetime Warranty.

If those are too fancy I +1 the Napa suggestion.

Oreillys has good stuff too. I've had good luck with their brake parts in other vehicles.

Has anyone dealt with "Brake Performance"? It seems that their parts from rotors and pads are lifetime warranted and that includes warping. That is great if they hold up to their warranty as stated. I am doing a full brake job including replacing the rear drums/shoes.

Only the dimpled and slotted are lifetime against warping and cracking. The others are lifetime for defects in materials and workmanship with 1 or 2 years on warping and cracking.

Clik on the rotor features. Warranty is listed at the bottom of the screen:

i picked up some standard oem rotors and some premium semi-metallic pads from brakeperformance.com and they seriously kick so much *** compared to how squeeky and shaky my old rotors/pads were. i paid liek 140$ total for everything i think in the end with tax and shipping
