im going to order these they dont show they fit the 4.7l but if you look up the same vechical on rock auto and a dakota 4.7l the stock replacment is the same part i found out this by trying to find a aftermarket set for mine so then looked them up for a 04 cobra with the 4.6l i believe it was and found this set

I got a set of Eaton lifters for $55.00 from eBay. Made in USA...will pm you the info when I get home...he should have at least 16 more. Yes...they are the same as the Ford 4.6!

but why? you can use the stock lifters with HO cams.

Yes, lifters are the same between HO and non-HO, but I have close to 100k, and have at least one that is a little noisy...AND, for $55.00 for 16 brand new made in the US name brand ones...cheap insurance!

I even went to NAPA and compared them to the Sealed Power ones they sell..guess what? SAME EXACT PART NUMBER on the lifter!

cause id rather replace them now instead of installing the cams then having to redo it cause one is going out and i want a aftermarket set over the stock ones

so we can expect a FULL write up......with step by step...socket/wrench size, etc...special tools, all that??

I will let you know if I had any issues/workarounds...but there are SO many write-ups already!

I splurged and bought two wedges, and will be making the Spanner wrench from scrap.

Once I have the cams installed, I will be selling the wedges
