Thanks guys! yea i painted them, they are matte black out ofthe box.

They arent hard to install, takes two people though. I've seen some people use rivets and i kinda wish i did because the brackets they give you to attatch them are a little sketchy and some of them are a little loose.

I know most people get a lift first but my 98 dakota had flares and i didnt really like the look of it without them so i wanted to get them asap.

 

They r easy to install indeed. I don't know about it taking 2 guys tho. I did mine by myself and it took about 45 minutes to prep the flares and 1 hr to install. Of course I've done it multiple times on my other trucks.
