Default 05 4.7 idle problems

So I have a 2005 Dakota 4.7. Occasionally at a stoplight or going through the drive thru, etc. my truck will start running rough and will sometimes die altogether. Any ideas on what I could be dealing with?

Hi, and WELCOME.
I would first start by checking the IAC and TPS, then my next guess would be spark plugs.

Thanks. I can rule out the plugs, I changed them pretty recently. But I'll definitely check out the others.

welcome to the 3rd gendakota forum. Ditto what winston said. I would also disconnect the battery for an hour or so and also clean the IAC, and throttle body. When's the last time you replaced the plugs?

Sorry for the late reply, it's been around 10k miles or maybe less since the plugs were changed. Also, my truck seems only to have the idle problem when it's full or nearly full of gas.
