OK, so far, colder plugs, 180 thermostat, electric fan, CAI, custom exhaust, Hemifever tune, 27" drag radials. What else can I do besides NOS, turbo, or supercharger, to get a little more out of her? Is the TB mod worth it? 3.7L V6 (oh, yea, dont say I shoulda bought a 4.7L!)
So far, while I have been racing, I took her from an 18.36@76.16 down to 17.15@77.92. She will probably pick up a little more next month.

I second the motion for gears.

Any higher flow tb will improve power especially at high rpms and works great with a higher flowing exaust. Have you replaced or eliminated the factory y-pipe?

If you ever have need to open the valve cover you might want to look at the solid lifters from air ram.

An underdrive pulley will help at all rpms.

Nox is safe if set up properly and you don't try for too big of a shot. A 2 stage set at 50hp and 100hp will provide the best bang for the buck improvement.

I've heard that. Seems one failure is because of the design error on the asp pulleys. Nick from airram pointed it out and has been fix in later designs. The other failure I belive is because the crank bolt wasn't tightened properly.

I belive it to be a safe option as long as its the newer designed asp or the ati branded pulley.

Gears would require to much $$$. Its a 3.55 4x4. Thats why I went for smaller drag tires. I already reduced weight. no spare, no reese hitch, and no tailgate. Truck weighs 4227 (with me in it) Stock it weighs 4295 (empty)acording to http://www.internetautoguide.com/13-...fications.html
So, if you add my 132+4295 then subtract the new 4227, thats almost 200lbs lighter than stock.

Did you remove the spare tire winch system too? If so was it difficult and how much does it weigh by itself?

No, it wasn't difficult. Probably 5+lbs. It weighs less than you would think.

It's a daily driver, so all thats gonna stay intact. for now. Although, I wonder what that drive shaft weighs? How difficult would it be to remove at the beginning of the season/put back in winter? hmmm....

My exhaust was removed after the y pipe and modified to come out in front of the rear passanger tire. Flowmaster super44, no resonators.
