I am working on my brakes and have about got them, but was wondering what the torque on the 2 bolts that hold the caliper on is? Any one know?
Here ya go straight out of the service manual
5. Install the banjo bolt with new copper washers
to the caliper. Tighten to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.)
6. Install the caliper slide pin bolts. tighten to 32
N·m (24 ft. lbs.)
Thanks for the replies, I went with the "crank em down hard and call it good" as I didn't think that 20 ft lbs was good enough. Now just have to get a 23 mm socket to torque the lugs. 7/8" does ok to get them off, but not good enough to torque. Some one here said 19 mm socket, but that is not right for mine.
