The motor has been sitting a while so the next step is remove the heads and clean out the motor. Then APR Head Stud Bolt, LS3 Springs, Comp cam Push Rods, New Seal, 224/224 112 LSA Custom Grind Cam (from comp), Port the LS1 Throttle Body, see if long tubes fit if not shorties with custom true dual with x-pipe, then tune with HP-Tuners.

Hope to make 350whp 350 wtq

Future mod is a front mount 72mm Magnum Turbo

the stock LS1 intake is the worst of all ls/lq engines... you will loose power with this.

Ahhh, I know the feeling, the worry about that first cut, the point where there is no going back once you start, then BAM your hacking away building something so much more awesome!

Not to start a brand war, but I still cringe every time someone puts a GM motor in a Chrysler vehicle...don't you know angels loose their wings every time a person puts a GM 350 in a jeep instead of a Mopar 360?

I know I work out of an LSX shop lol. I got it for free so I am not complaining when I find an LS6 manfold for a good price I will be switching it out.

Forgot to mention using LS1 injectors as well

The motor will be getting taken apart today cleaned and painted

Just ordered the cam
224/224 .598/.598 112 LSA
