Default Recomend me a ToolBox

Looking for an IN-THE-BOX tool box, somthing like 36" x 20" x14" or the like... not one that goes on top of the box but in it... looking for plastic or steel... semi- heavy duty.

I have a Rubbermaid box, very sturdy with a lockable lid, I think I bought at K-Mart way back in the mid '90s I used in my '94 Wrangler as a toolbox. It fit perfectly in the back, right inside the rear gate. Only downside was I had to keep the rear seat folded to have it in there. I ended up mounting it so someone couldn't just walk off with it by drilling some holes in the bottom of it thru the floor of the Jeep and welded a couple bolts up from the bottom. Secured it with wing nuts inside the box.

I kept recovery gear, some basic tools, etc. in there. It was no big deal to clear enough stuff out of it to get to the wing nuts to take it out, problem was, if I was out somewhere and all of a sudden needed to use the rear seat, I had NO PLACE to put the box.

I still have the box, it's in my shed being used to store seldom used items like old hand-hedge trimmers, folding shovels, trowels and stuff like that.

But this box has never been exposed to the elements, as the Jeep had a soft top. I've always used aluminum diamond plate boxes in my trucks, last two have been UWS, which are very well made. Tractor supply has a real good selection in many various sizes and shapes...
