Superchips has some great canned tunes and an exceptional trans tuning package (at extra cost). The flashpack is what most of us run, the cortex is the same as flashpack but comes with a powertrain warranty. As Winston said, SCT can make more hp because the the tunes can be made much more aggressive than the canned superchips tunes. I have been under the impression that the SCT is a better choice if you are into major engine mods (ho cams, headers, duals, turbo, blower, etc) but I may be wrong. My personal choice is the flashpack simply for the trans tuning capability. That in itself has made my truck sooo much more fun to drive. I wish there was a way to combine the hemifever tunes with the superchips trans tuning, that to me would be the best of both worlds.

Yeah, jkeaton hit it on the head. With a stock engine or with simple mods, (exhaust & CAI), your best option would be Superchips 3865 or Cortex 3950.

The warranty is very limited. Be sure to read all the fine print.

There's a Cortex 3950 4/S in the parts sales here on DF, $275 shipped.
