Yea thats what I heard, but what I read it never specified it was Oil only.

ive used it before, in my gas tank, booster line and crank case. didnt notice any difference. smoked a tiny bit but that was it..

on an older engine it could potentially lower compression as the carbon build up acts like a seal, i've done it on plenty of engines nothing bad happened yet, do it on the the brake booster line

Carbon doesn't seal up anything, it takes up volume therefor increasing the compression ratio.
