Today started with sadness I went out the check on the bumper, which was drying since I painted the inside. and well, the front started to peel off. I was pissed, Had to peel ALL it off the front, clean it up, Re-primer this time with "Self-Etching" primer, I used when I did my backrack says it doesnt require sanding, But I still did, then bought new bedliner (cheaper stuff $10/can not $17) that sprays on 100x easier and ALOT less runny.
But the Primer is $17/can, not $10 lol

I also sprayed rust inhibitor, and under coat on my hitch, and such on the truck.

Well, Got it all finished and put back on.
The pictures it looks like the paint is darker in spots lighter in others, its VERY hard to notice in-person, and my fade once it dries more.

Thumbs up

Looks great man. Thats about what mine looks like now. Did you spray the top piece too? I did on mine. I didn't look like it changed but it has more grip to it. I have the ****ty stock gray plastic bumper on the front and I sprayed that too. looks 100% better. for under $20 I don't think you can beat it. I'll have to post some pics of it.

That looks great! I have a chrome bumper, but I think I'll try some bedliner spray on that crappy faded plastic that's on it. And I may try it on the front bumper as well. There's so much I wanna do but I have nowhere to do it at college! lol

I have a Club cab, The back rack was off a 2000 CC Dakota. I bought toolbox brackets for it when I got my 05. We had to special order the toolbox (TrailFX Brand) to get it in black, Its built for Dakotas, Raiders, and Tacoma's (Bigger 1/4 tons), not Rangers, S10, ect.

The back rack is bolted thru the rails with Stainless steel hardware, and Rubber between the brackets and bed rails, and under the hardware.

I did see another, 05-07 going with special brackets for the backrack. I assume "No Drilling" ones. Like clamps.
