Default Door Window Rattle

I noticed this pretty quickly after I bough the truck (I bought it about 2 months ago). When I have the windows down and I'm driving I hear a rattle inside the door (Front driver, and passenger). I usually only hear this when it is a fairly rough road. But the sound is completely gone when the window is up, even partially up. It only happens when the window is fully down. It really makes a god awful noise when I close the door with the window down. It sounds like the window is going to break inside the door. Have any of you had this problem as well? I guess my question is, is this a manufacturing error, or is some mount broken in my doors.

I'm going to raise this one from the dead, my GenI has the same problem on both sides when rolled down (even cracked). I read you can CAREFULLY bend the aluminum track rails in to make the window a big more snug and it supposedly works I'm going to give it a shot.

I actually have the same problem. I have a rattle only on my passenger side though. When the window is below halfway down and you shut the door it makes a horrible noise like the window is going to break.

I got this in Both doors, and around half-way to fully down. I havnt broken any glass yet off-roading with it down. But would love to fit it.

I was able to end up fixing mine. What happened was there is a rubber/felt track the the window travels down when it goes inside the door. It's basically the same stuff that surrounds the window when it's up. What ended up happening is both sides of this rubber track slid off the metal support. Dodge stupidly designed it to just kind of be wedged into the metal track. So when I pulled the door panel off both of the rubber liners were just laying on the bottom of the door. So I wedged them back into the tracks and I haven't had an issue since. Hopefully this helps.

I have brand new track run seals that are tight, still rattles I will have to try squeezing with pliers.

Figured my problem out, the track guides on the bottom of the window poped out of the tracks but the windows still works so it was hard to tell.
