Unless you have aftermarket suspension components, there are no grease fittings on your truck. I know, its a super dumb idea and I have no reason why they did this other than the idea to gain the ability to drum up maintenance funds for the dealerships...

As Bolt said, Stock they do not exist. Cost cutting reasons, and to bring more funds to dealerships for replacement parts.

What are they? - Zerk fittings are a small nipple that allows a grease gun to attach to fill a component with grease and not allow it to flow out.

Where are they? - they should be on everything, ball joints, tie rods, control arm mounts, sway bar links, sway bar mounts, u-joints. Stock Dakotas will have NONE.

What to put in them? - Any standard chassis grease or lithium based should be ok.

That sucks. So do I have to take it to a dealership or can I lube it up myself??

the front end parts cannot be lubed at all unless they have zerk fittings. its not a matter of ha ha you got to pay the stealership to do it because you cant because dodge is mean. its a matter of when the grease wears out or dries up you have to replace all the parts.. now that being said. the parts are cheap, plentiful and most aftermarket front end parts will have the zerk fittings. and best of all because your truck is a dodge and therefore awesome the parts are pretty easy to change too.
