Whichever choice, make sure they are manufactured recently, check the manufacturing date on the tire. I would not buy new tires that are more than a year old. And check the manufactures recall list before you buy.

I love the BFG ATs, but 265/70/16s ran me a little over $800, and that was with no mark up or mounting/balancing charges because my cousin works at a tire shop. If thats too pricey, you can also look at the General Grabber AT2s which are almost identical to the BFG ATs.

I'll put my plug in for Hankook Dynapro ATM. I love them so far. Cooper Discoverer AT3 was my first choice but has a week wait time to get them and I am impatient.

these firestone destination at's seem ok so far. i love how they look and they are very quiet.

i got some bfg long trails and they look awesome to me, rides nice and quiet..seemed to firm up my handling a bit too
