I wouldn't want to drill a ball joint in any case. Any scar on the ball, you counteract the purpose. They are press fit, so there is little clearance to tolerate particles. Anything like this, it needs to be pre-drilled prior to assembly. Honestly not worth the hassle, especially when a tie rod end is cheaper than a tank of gas.

 

SOOO APPARENTLY I WAS WRONG!!! and ill be the first to admit that. the moog parts that are at my local advanced are greaseble.. but for some reason the pictures online show it without grease fittings.. I already replaced my tie rods with cheapo's but they are easy to change so when these die i may have more cash to spare. (sallie mae is the devil)

 

Well I guess the is good news to you! !! At least tie rods are easy to replace and you haven't done ball joints yet

Yes she is, but I just finally got my college loan paid off! But i dont get to enjoy that extra cash each month. Dam rent.

That is one thing that i hate about buying things off the internet. You never know what the heck you ACTUALLY are geting. In this instance, you probably woulda got the moogs if they had put proper pics of the product up.

 

You can say that again... you dont even know how bad I hate these *****.
