Welcome to the forum! the fm 40 series is loud and obnoxious. If thats the sound you are looking for then go for it. Otherwise like Winston said, magnaflow (my favorite) would be a good choice. I had a fm 40 series on my truck and it was gawd awful. interior noise so bad it gave me headaches. just my 2 cents.

I like the Magnaflows on a V6. My brother just put a cat-back system on his new Explorer and I can't imagine anything else to sound much better. I still have to pick the rice out of my ears though after he revs it though

I've always been a big gibson fan, from back when I used to own Rangers. Made those V6's sound really nice and deep, but not real loud. I have a Gibson single sideswept on my Dakota and love it, it is a V8 though.

Your going to get a ricey sound no matter what. With this or the 40 series, its going to sound ricey at higher rpms, no way to get around it
