NOS cost money because you are constantly spraying.

Superchips to me has made a big difference because I can change how it shifts.

TT is more difficult to tune than single T

Singe T has lag depending on the size of the turbo (If I was to do it I would do this, but I am used to single turbo tuning (Shelby Charger, Shelby Daytona, GSX 1G)).

blower robs horsepower to provide horsepower, no lag.

Nitrous is the best bang for the bux. We have a shop locally that refills bottles for $1.25 per pound.

You can go with the Nitrous Express Proton Plus Kit, with fuel pressure safety switch and a window switch. With the kit tune and both of those added safeties you can go wrong. When you want a bigger shot all you have to do is up the jets.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. NOS will give u the best bang for your buck. Your truck will pick up about as fast as mine does with a turbo for about 3500 less. Around 80 instant hp on a safe shot. The misconception is that NOS is bad for ur engine, this is not true, NOS can be set up very safely, specially with a wet shot.

If I had unlimited money I would go with a twin turbo. I don't believe there is anything
better than a twin turboed V8. nothing!

The issue with TTs inot so much tuning but the cost, you now need two turbos, two waste gates, etc..

"safe shot"? Doesent the engine need to be built to handle the extra HP? Seems like this added chemical boost would be hard on a stock engine?

I ran 100 dry shot with no tune on my 3.7 I went through 4 10 pound bottles and the truck took it like a champ.

You can easily add 100-150 wet shot on these 4.7 you just need to get the truck tuned for nitrous. Its all in the tune. You can get the most expensive nitrous kit in the world but if you don't tune the truck it wont be safe.

Agreed.

And for you guys concerned about the NOS refill cost. Just consider that with a turbo or supercharger you really should fill up with higher octane gas all the time, which at the end of the day ends up costing you more.

How hard is it to tune a system with NOS? Is it something I can do or would I have to find a shop around here in Tampa?
