I recently installed a 2.5 leveling spacer on my 2010 dak 4x4 Oooh Ya V-8 anyway ive replaced one ball joint/a arm and now the new one is squeeking or its something else I didnt hear anything bad about the 2.5 untill after i installed it. Is there anyone that can help me Should I take it out and install a 2 or can i get new struts that will take the pressure off everything????????

I think there's others with a 2.5 but even with new struts. There's still awkward angles and pressure on the balljoints when the truck sits that high

I've got a 2.5 inch lift and have had no problems so far. Ofcourse I've only put about a thousand miles on so far.

try going off the backside of a speedbump any fast than 5mph. your upper arm hits the coil spring and the steering gets maxed out.

Yup. Thats why the Body Lift is currently the only logical choice for fitting larger tires and gaining clearance.

These leveling kit spacers just make the strut too long, putting pressure on ball joints, putting tie rods at bad angles for steering, causing long-term issues with the inner ends and the rack itself, not to mention the angles of the CV joints.

It's just not worth the hassle. Go body lift, or don't bother IMO.
