Switch mounting locations
I've starting adding a bunch of aux. exterior lighting and I need a place to put all the new switches. I've thought about installing them in the knee bolster. But I want something a little nicer, since I'm going to have at least 4 switches. Does anyone know of a good place were I can buy a housing where I could install these switches into. These are the switches that I'm using: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...+off+on+switch. But if someone knows of a housing with switches already installed, please share. My only request is they need to be 3-way switches (on-off-on).
You are really intending to wire multiple high amp, double throw switches into your cab?
Well, won't be the first Dak on this forum that burnt to the ground...
Do it the right way and use relays in the engine bay and keep the wire melting, spark causing high amps in the engine bay where it's supposed to be and go with a switch panel in the cab. A bit tougher to find them in 3 position, but they're out there. Used them for marine apps myself...
