Hello,

I'm new to the forum. I just got a 2011 Dakota (Big Horn) with the basic stock radio. Single CD, No sirius......just an aux plug in for my ipod.

I am wanting to upgrade this to the my gig radio. My question is... Will either one of these work?

I have no answer, but I'm sure someone will, but welcome to the forum!

 

The first link will definitely not, that is a high speed bus unit.

The second link should work, it's a low speed bus unit. Only a low speed bus will work in our Dakotas.
Just so you know, it's not simply plug and play, there are more parts that you need to buy to install a mygig unit.
The guys who have made the switch will chime in shortly.
