New Tires
I had the Firestone Destination AT's on my truck originally. Good all around tire IMO. Went through a couple of snows, good wet and dry weather performance. I have Hankook Dynapro ATM's now. I love them so far. You will soon find that tire opinions are like the proverbial a$$hole...everyone will have their own favorite tire...lol
had the stock goodyear wrangler SR-A's. They look like a good tire. Unless thats what you are changing from haha. Theres goodyear ultra grip and ultra grip ice. check it out. http://www.goodyear.com/tires/70175/search-tire-results

I have had good luck with the stockers, but I am running the 18s...
So much good luck, I grabbed another set from a craigslister

I just put Cooper Discoverer H/T's on my Dakota. They have great reviews, look great on the truck, and the price was low. Most importantly, my uncle recommended them and he has been driving semi's for over 30 years so I trust his opinion on tires :-)

I have tell you so far I love my Michelin P265X70/16 MTX M/S2 tires. They are very smooth and quiet and great in rain. A friend in Jersey has the same tires on his Dak and ran them in 34 inches of snow last winter with no problems.
I ran the stock Wranglers on my Dakota for 50,000 miles.
I just put on Cooper Discoverer A/T3's and really like them.
They're quiet and look good too.
I haven't had any snow for them yet, but I'm sure that I will.
