Maintenance Schedule
I just picked up a 2008 Dakota Laramie this fall.
For some reason, I'm having a hard time of making sense of the scheduled maintenance in the manual and can't find one online.
Can anybody point me in the right direction for a good maintenance schedule?

From the owners manual: (in case you need info quick)
Oil and Filter (6K+ depending on oil) 5w-20
Air filter every 12K
Axle Fluid 18K 75-90 front 75-140 rear plus limited slip additive if needed
Upper Spark Plugs 30K
Tranny Fluid (and transfer case fluid 4x4) 60K ATF+4
Coolent 102K
Lower Plugs 102K (did mine at 50K, they are difficult to remove if you wait)
Drive Belts 120K

As for the Login ID, just use ANY letter and then 12 numbers, any 12 numbers, that is the format for a Michigan License number.
Put in your vehicle info and click on 'Maintenance'. You can also view TSB and recall information, and a there is a repair section too.

What is confusing you about what's in the manual? Is it because there are more than one to choose from? It just depends on what you do with your truck that determines which schedule you pick. If you work the truck pretty hard(towing) or do a ton of short trips and stop and go, use the schedule with shorter intervals, otherwise use the longer one. It is a lot to look at one one page I guess, but once you pick a schedule, it's not hard to follow.
Another thing you can do is go to the Dodge website and register your vehicle. After you register and create an account you can actually view what upcoming maintenance that should be done, as well as all past dealer service history. It's pretty cool. You're build information is also right there for you to view.
