I have always been told the difference between 4wd and 2wd is the distance you have to walk home...

Got some pictures, had it towed out, driver almost didnt want to go back to it. then he also had to backup farther into it then he would have liked.

Tow was expensive, But had to get it out so.

Do a bit of research & see if there are any local off-road clubs, get on their forum and see if you can generate a bit of interest in helping you get "unstuck". A lot of off-roaders don't mind lending a helping hand, especially if you wandered into a mud hole inadvertently.

I see that I posted this too late, sorry about that

When I'm hunting in south Georgia and the roads get to looking like that (although here they mud has a red clay color) is when I pull the truck on the nice, firm grass and pull the ATV out the bed, LOL... (and yes, I have a Warn winch on it, too, LOL)...

Ive been thinking of investing in a ATV lol
Also there is nothing behind me to winch to

Tow truck had to winch me around 300ft backwards, He had to move ahead 3 times. And he was a 2wd, glad he was willing to go in deep enough to reach. NO tow company around here has a 4wd... which sucks

I clean most of the exterior mud off (other then underneath) took 15min at a high pressure washer. plan to throw it up on some ramps to help clean under her. then to the interior... thats another story.

That's why I have a WASP in my toolbox... (Lower cost Pull Pal clone)...

I paid $99 for it at a 4x4/truck show, I think retail is $149... I've never needed it, but have tested it in the muck down by the pond at the farm, works well...

I'm curious, how much was the tow? Any damage to the truck?

holy **** man. I spent half of last saturday cleaning up oil from under the truck and it wasn't all that dirty. I can't even imagine a job like that.

Glad you had fun though.
